She waits for me in the front window to come home, she goes and gets all of her baby dolls real quick to greet me, and when I walk in, she stands on her back legs with her front paws going up my leg as if to say, “Hi Mommy”, then barks until I speak back to her and pay her attention.
This happens every day! Don’t know what I’d do without her!! I’d recommend a Shih Tzu Maltese mix dog to anyone! She has changed our lives totally!!

People who suffer from dog allergies tend to have a very tough time being around dogs in general making it miserable for them to have a pet dog. Their allergies flair up and bring about terrible sneezing, stuffy noses, skin rashes and watery/itchy eyes that they develop while in the proximity of dogs. Luckily, there are special types of dog which are considered hypoallergenic dogs that can allow someone with dog allergies to still have a canine pet. Generally dog allergy symptoms develop because of allergen particles which are given off in the air from dog skin and hair. The allergens mostly come from things the dog hair has come into contact with such as dust and pollen, which trigger allergies. People who have dog allergies have immune systems which tend to be weaker when they are in contact with the various allergens, triggering the various symptoms such as stuffy nose, sneezing and skin rashes or hives. To further illustrate why dogs can cause allergies for some people, dogs which have more hair tend to pick up more of the allergen particles. Therefore someone who suffers from dog allergies would want to avoid dogs like the German Shepherd, Irish Setter or Afghan Hound. The alternative to having no dog whatsoever is to choose a dog which will cause less or minimal allergies. Hypoallergenic dogs are dogs that create less allergens in the air due to their physical size and fur lengths. Some of these dogs have very minimal shedding of their hair which helps to reduce the chance for any allergen particles being sent into the air. It’s important to note that no dog is considered truly hypoallergenic, because all dogs give off постороннем allergens, and dog allergies can be different from person to person. There’s several potential pets that a person with dog allergies can consider. Breeds of dog such as the Pomeranian, Irish Terrier, Samoyed, Portuguese Water Dog and Miniature Schnauzers are considered great pets for those with dog allergies due to minimal shedding or dander. The Incha Orchid, Chinese Crested, American Hairless Terrier or the Mexican Hairless are also great choices as these dogs are almost all hairless. Also consider the environment or living arrangement when choosing the dog. Dogs such as Irish Terriers and Poodles tend to do better with families while Portuguese Water Dogs and Chihuahuas are better with one person. When selecting a prospective pet dog, one of the best pieces of advice for the prospective dog owner who has dog allergies is for that person to spend at least 30 minutes around the potential pet dog. This can help the individual gauge whether or not that dog will be right for them, or cause them to suffer from dog allergies. If the dog being considered lives at a breeder far away, sending a piece of clothing is an alternate way to test things. Once the clothing item has been placed near the dog for a day or so it can be sent back for the individual to test by wearing or smelling to see if it causes any allergy problems. People who enjoy the companionship of having a pet dog yet have allergy complications don’t have to be pet-less. A hypoallergenic dog can provide the perfect solution to allow a dog allergy sufferer to have a pet dog while cutting down on the coughing, sneezing and irritations that come with allergies.

I am contemplating purchasing a Shih Tzu puppy. I have had experience with a female pup, but have been told that male Shih Tzus are more reserved and less interactive. I am looking for individuals that have male Shih Tzus. Are they all calmer/more shy than the girls? Or is it just a case of observing certain dogs ? I would like to get a boy (I already have a male dog, different breed, and would like to keep things simple) but I also want a dog that will be playful and fun with my four children. Any help in this decision would be appreciated.

My husband and I are newlyweds. We decided to adopt a dog to find out if we??re ready for parenthood. I had never owned a pet before and we had no criteria of what breed we wanted. We just knew we wanted something small that doesn??t shed. So we went to a reputable pet store in town, and just as we were about to leave, we spot this furball in one of the playpens. We had never even heard of Maltipoms. We asked the owner if we could hold the furball, and it was the sweetest, softest, and cutest thing we??ve ever seen. He kept licking my husband??s arm the whole time and we knew we found our baby.

One of my daughters got a Pomeranian last summer and I loved him so much that I decided to get one too. However, I wanted to get a rescue dog so I contacted Tammy Hines at Waggin Tails Pomeranian Rescue. She brought Foxy to my home so I could meet her and we talked quite awhile and let Foxy walk around the kitchen. She was very timid at first but let me hold her after a while and she laid her little head on my shoulder. That did it - she stole my heart and I had to have her. Three weeks later I met Tammy and picked Foxy up to bring her home and I’ve been in love with her ever since. She came out of her shell after about two weeks and is so playful and feisty. She sleeps with me and stays by my side when I’m home, she is such a blessing to me - What a wonderful, adorable companion!

The city of Hercules in Contra Costa County is taking steps to crack down on pit bull bite attacks after two recent attacks injured a woman and killed her dog.
On the 20 th of August, two pit bulls attacked a woman and her Yorkshire Terrier. The dog was killed while the woman suffered bites and scratches on her arms. The two pit bulls were deemed dangerous, and were euthanized.

The affectionate and energetic Cavalier King Charles Spaniel makes a perfect family dog or companion. These dogs, and especially puppies, are best in a home with older children that can understand how small and fragile the dog is. It can be dangerous to have very young children around puppy Cavalier King Charles Spaniels as the children may not know the dog’s limitations and delicate size. For great family recreation, the dog can be walked several times per-day as it requires steady and frequent exercise. It is important to understand that a small dog, such as the Cavalier are not ones for long walks, but rather many short jaunts. Even a short stroll in the back yard is sufficient, but be sure to recognize that this little guy still loves his time outdoors. Have each family member take him out once per day and he is assured adequate fresh air and exercise. The Cavalier King Charles also typically loves to chase cars and run after small animals. Keep this in mind if you intend to keep your dog occupied with unattended outdoor time. Make sure the environment is safe for your little friend and check on them frequently.

We’re getting a puppy, but we’re not sure what breed to get. We’re tied between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Papillon (Butterfly Dog).
We want a lively, but calm dog, a dog that is easy to train, a dog that doesn’t have a huge amount of health problems, a dog which I can groom every day, a dog that is quiet or can be very easily trained to be quiet and a dog which we can take on long walks.

Lately, a bunch of people have been asking me about my job search, as in, do I even want to go back to work and, if so, am I looking around? My answer to both questions is a resounding YES, but I have to admit that after spending a year at home with Nora (for the most part) my thoughts on the whole working situation have changed - and in complex ways. I’m more reluctant to have a job that would have me working long hours and barely seeing my child weekdays. On the flip side, I’m nearly desperate from some sort of office life. I don’t want to be at home all the time.

Overview: Rough and tumble, the Miniature Pinscher breed is most certainly a big dog in a small dog’s body. This breed is outgoing, energetic and is suitable for those who dwell in the city, country or just about anywhere. Drawbacks include a penchant for barking, and so unwanted noise should be discouraged and curtailed early on with this breed. They do however make excellent watchdogs (as opposed to guard dogs), and will certainly alert a family to any incoming visitors. The Miniature Pinscher Breed is small but sturdy, generally weighing somewhere between eight and twelve pounds.

This might come as a big surprise, but dogs shed. Birds gotta fly, fish gotta swim and dogs gotta shed. All dogs shed (even the mostly hairless ones). But some breeds of dog shed a lot less than others. These tend to be dogs with a harsh feeling or curly coat.
Any breed or half-breed that leans heavily on Poodle ancestry will not shed very much. However, the dead hair just stays on the dog. If not clipped every one to two months, their coats will become horrifying. They get so matted and tangled that the dog can get sick from dirty coats. These breeds are, thankfully, very trainable and eager to please.

I hate my first post to be a small QQ, but I just have to vent to people who get it (or I hope you do).
Was looking for a group to kill the brewfest boss and I was invited by the guy with him saying ‘Direbrew? have summons’. Was summoned in by the warlock (which was a bit odd), three of us summon and then there ended up being a pause. When we mention there should be two summons left, the group leader goes ‘we already used ours, we’re farming’.

I mentioned in previous parts that Chinese cuisine are divided into many different regions. And there are four major regional cuisine series, including Cantonese, Pekingese (Beijing), Shanghai and Sichuan. Since Hong Kong is located in Canton, of course Cantonese will be the major cuisine. But other regional Chinese cuisines are also very popular as well. Peking, or Beijing Cuisine, is another leading one. Since Beijing has been capital of China for so long, many Pekingese dishes were from the imperial courts of the emperors and were well served at elaborate banquets. There are still performance of the pulling of Pekingese noodles and the smashing of the clay wrapped “Beggar’s Chicken”. (I mentioned this dish in a hotel in another post .) To keep the body warm for people living in northern China, Peking or Beijing food tends to be substantial, and it tastes richer than Cantonese food. Quite a lot of peppers, garlic, ginger, coriander and leeks are used. Noodles and dumplings are more popular than rice, and they prefer roasting when cooking comparing to Cantonese.
